Acceptable use
What you should and can't do
This acceptable use policy was last updated on January 21, 2026.
This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') applies to all clients using the services provided by Shaeps ApS, CVR: 35515291 ("Shaeps"), including our China market entry consulting services and related advisory services (collectively, the 'Services').
Professional conduct
Clients using the Services must comply with the following:
Provide us with accurate and complete information about your business.
Deal with us, our Chinese partners and the relevant authorities in good faith and with honesty.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, especially those relating to export controls, anti-corruption (e.g. no bribery), sanctions and Chinese regulations.
Prohibited activities
Do not use the Services for the following:
Money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, tax fraud, or any Chinese criminal activity;
ribing Chinese officials or employees of state-owned companies;
Misrepresenting your business, products, or creating fraudulent schemes;
Damaging Shaeps’ reputation or our relationships in China;
Illegal drugs, weapons (without licenses), human trafficking, counterfeit goods, illegal gambling and pornography.
Your key responsibilities
If your products or services are subject to export controls, you must:
Obtain the correct licences and provide them to us if requested;
Verify any Chinese partners we introduce you to. Hire your own Chinese lawyer to review contracts;
Only bring IP to China that you properly own or have licensed;
Respect human rights, labour standards and the environment in your operations.
You must report any violations to us in good faith.
Enforcement
We may monitor compliance and request proof.
If you break these rules, especially if it exposes us to legal or reputational risk, we can refuse or stop service immediately.
No refunds will be given in such cases.
Amendments
Shaeps may update this AUP by notifying you. Continued use means you accept the changes.
Connection to the main agreement
This AUP forms part of the main services agreement (the 'Main Agreement') between you and Shaeps. The terms of the main contract prevail.
